Warehousing is required now on much larger scale and holds key to performance and cost of service to satisfy all types of customers. Professional skills of planning, organizing and controlling warehousing operations are already assuming importance in manufacturing and service industry logistics. This program covers all essential aspects of the building blocks of the system, establishment, efficient running and keeping it up.

The next generation of warehousing executives must know about the technicality and key drivers of result oriented warehousing operations. The changing scale, increasing sophistication introduced by IT and mechanization, demands on measurable efficiency and ever increasing customer demands on quality of service requires a management approach. It requires capability of identifying right milestones, devising a measured action plan and well thought out performance measures. The executive should have a complete perspective of elements of warehousing operation to be effective.
